Hailed as one of the most inventive math-rock acts around the globe; with their flavour of controlled chaos sweeping through every influence imaginable - from post-rock to hardcore to electronic to jazz. They’ve played bills with every genre under the sun, supporting Tortoise (US), Jean Jean (FRA), Regurgitator, and We Lost the Sea to name a few. Their critically-acclaimed album topped the genre in 2017, making many AOTY lists; and saw the band tour Japan and win over Tokyo with their slot at Bahamasfest 2017. A surprise last-minute addition to the Progfest 2018 Sydney lineup made an impression to last - seeing the band return to Progfest 2019, and another full tour of Japan shortly after.
In 2021, SEIMS released their cinematic epic, "FOUR", and 2022 saw the quartet venture to the UK with their debut appearance at ArcTanGent 2022. 2023 will see their return to the UK/EU with appearances at dunk! Festival and Portals Festival.
Frenetically energetic and furiously infectious, their live show will leave you breathless (for better or worse.)

A year ago, I made a promise on social that went a little too far - if FOUR hit the charts, I’d do a math-rock cover of Wonderwall.
And here we are, a year later (along with an ‘actual’ song, too.)
A big thanks to everyone who’s been loving the new album and catching us on tour / grabbing merch / sending me memes on instagram. I hope this cover lives up to everything you didn’t want it to be.
SEIMS initially received our invitation to play the ATG main stage in 2020. We’d just come off the back of a crazy good Japan tour, and I was humbled and honoured to see this sitting at the top of my inbox. Our label manager Mike texts me immediately.
“You’re saying yes, right?”
I got to experience the fest first hand in 2017 – I bought a return flight from Sydney, Australia, on a whim to go see my favourite bands. A 10/10 time was had. It was worth it.
Of course, COVID was a thing, and that pushed our appearance out to 2021, then onwards to 2022. As you can imagine, our anticipation had snowballed greatly. In this time, my wife and I had a baby girl, and this would force me to be away from my child for a lengthy period for the very first time. And we were only coming for one show…
Would it be worth it?
